Francis, you got it all wrong. I didn't say that you were dealer rather that these 2 watches maybe came from same dealer who tried to scam you or someone else.
But then again, in FB post you posted picture of last 2 watches, claiming that you only need rose gold one, on which @hoipolloi replied to you with his one. So now I'm condused, do you own black dialed Connie or not?

Yes, you are correct in the FB post i posted picture of last 2 watches, claiming that you only need rose gold one, to complete a set of three. What’s the problem In setting goals for myself with what I hope to collect? Some of fellow collectors have asked me in my FB are the two watches for sale, I have also politely said no...

i have been offered these two white gold watches from a vintage watch shop in Hong Kong
When you say "I have been offered" that sounds like you don't own the watch and are thinking about buying it so that's why you seek for help here. Then you said you own it, so I was confused about that. You made a problem out of nothing. 😀

I have a very good reputation in Hong Kong among the fellow collectors and shops. The shop has allowed me money back guarantee in the event that there are issues with the watch. I have been offered this watch which I bought and as explained when a fellow collector has suggested me to post for a second opinion which I did. So what’s the issue when I asked question here? Do you mean that after I have bought the watch, I am no longer allowed to ask question here? Seems like it’s like a witch hunt on your end...

Witch hunt for saying that thing you said don't make sense? Being offered and owning a watch isn't same thing, but I will atribute that to english not being your or mine first language. So, can we see caseback of the watch in question?

Being a global forum there is always the potential for misinterpretations.
I think it’s best that we agree there was a misunderstanding and get back to the watches in hand.

@maxbliss888 if you have the watch in your possession, could you post some more pictures please.
Especially the rear of the watch and of the front and sides in better lighting.

I have read your posts with great interest, as I am always interested in new discoveries. They do happen from time to time, sometimes here on Omega Forums, sometimes in other places online.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, neither of these two watches left the factory in the condition they are in today. Looking at the hallmark from the watch in your prior post, it is not from an Omega made case.

This case looks to be a snapback case. I am unaware of any “C” shaped snapback cases for Omega Constellations from this era. All I have seen are screwback cases.

I think the movements are legitimate, or unlike the cases, put together from Omega parts, most of which are still available if you know where to look. The dials may or may not be correct. There are so many really good copies coming from the Far East these days, I am very skeptical of any 50-60 year old watch dial without any patina.

This is only my opinion, and I have been wrong before. But I think these watches are frankenwatches at best and fakes at worst. Probably somewhere in the middle.

If you own it, lets go with the pictures! Side, back, inside, close ups, etc!

This is the watch that I was trying to get more informations

in your previous post about this watch, I offered the advice that the style of dial it has couldn't correctly appear in a c-case watch.
Both case and dial might be Omega but they have been put together by someone.

we would now like to see more pictures of the watch that is featured in this thread please, so that we can try to give you a better assessment of that watch.

Not sure what the image is meant to signify but I have already reached out to the OP, who has returned the watch to the shop he bought it from - but is going to ask the seller for additional pictures for us.
So, patience young grasshopper.

"The term “crickets” is often used when someone asks a question and gets no response. Crickets has come to mean absolute silence; no communication. This expression was derived from the cinematic metaphor of chirping crickets at night, signally (otherwise) complete silence." 😁

Glad he listened to your advice. Too many dishonest sellers, thats why this forum is best place ever for not so experienced watch lovers like him and of course me. 👍

I have since returned the black dial Omega Constellation to the shop following my PM with Philip. Watch collecting is a hobby and not everyone can be at a forum non stop.

By posting a cricket and trying to show superiority is uncalled for.

This is my last post here as I can’t stand people with such behavior.

@maxbliss888 don't let one member, who evidently got out of bed the wrong way, put you off OF.
The members are generally a good bunch of guys, passionate about vintage watches and I know they would be interested in seeing your other, de luxe, Constellations.
You can start a new thread to post them or there is a ‘show your constellations’ thread

Dear Francis, again you are being too sensitive. I posted crickets because few times you were asked by multiple members to show caseback of a watch in your possesion that you ignored while being online after that and while posting photos on FB of your othere watches in a meanwhile, so it raised suspicion to me. You could wrote that you returned that watch and that would be enough. Secondly, what superiority are you talking about when I said that this

Yeah, this kinda went from misinterpretetation to misinterpretetation and then straight to overreaction. Language and timezone barriers apparently.

Well, it is what it is. At least he didn't get a franken or fake watch. So I guess we helped him in that sense.
