And another one for the collection
I have this guy on the wrist today!
Pie-pan 2852-9sc, cal. 505, from 1958.
First day on my wrist.
Here is mine:
Uncommon crossover version
Big white gold arrowhead pie pan & dog leg lugs
Looks to be in fantastic condition
Yes, condition is great! Case appears unpolished with all sharp edges. Dial has light spotting around the pie pan edge, but hardly visible without a loupe...
This was on Yahoo jp last week right ?
One of mine
My only solid gold one, a 1960 production ref.14381; one I rarely wear:
Suppose I should change that !
(all photos by @cristos71)
I'm never not going to 'like' this watch whenever you post it.
Beautiful pictures Doug!
On the left a new to me 2652. It came in a polished gold top case and last week it recieved a steel 2652 case upgrade
Man! @dougiedude and @cristos71 ! You are forcing me into the twin sins of covet and lust.
Seriously, it looks so beautiful! If you rarely wear it, I can take care of if on behalf of you
I know, right? Whoever took those deserves the kudos, certainly not me!
I'll pass it on Doug
We really need an 'OMG so beautiful!!' button for watches like these...
Finally got me a Connie.
It has some quirks regarding logo and the star, but I love it.
1962, cal 561, 14902.
Perhaps will source proper crown, but not sure, because people say it's harder to use
I also have 9 row SS bracelet, but I don't like it very much. It pulls my hair and feels cheap (too light), especially when comparing to my Speedmaster's (2017). But looks nice though.
I don't think I have posted this previously. It is in real nice condition and a keeper. Sorry about poor photo, will eventually get around to some better shots.
1962 Constellation that I purchased on eBay circa 2004/5
