1954 2782-3 SC, cal. 354 came with a 7077 bracelet but I need one #4 endlink, anyone have one they can part with?
Cool topic! My Connie had a rough life on the wrist of a photographer. She needs service and normaly I don't want a polishing turn. But now I doubt about it. With regards, Roel
Got this today.....I think it is an early 14777 jumbo. No inside pics but like the dial and the price was right. Off to SimonF for some tlc and get some inside pics. Will share when I get them.
There is another like this stripe dial on Desmonds site. It is a earlier 14395 jumbo and in gold cap. Maybe other members have more examples.
Black dial pie pan. My Dad bought this in Panama Canal in 1961. He said he had to decide between a Rolex and this Omega. He decided on the Omega because it was $20 less. Will be freshened up one day when I decide on the correct watchmaker to do it.
EBay find that I picked up because the crystal was so scratched up it was difficult to tell the condition. But I could see the case had sharp edges and it had never been polished, so I took a chance. It paid off and I gathered the parts for the beads of rice.
How do the lugs look? I really can't tell from the first photo. Glad your leap of faith paid off! [emoji1303]
Picked it up a few weeks ago. Still not sure I am going to keep it. It is very nice, but there are others......
