I had to share this, I know I'm no expert but this just made me chuckle 馃う

Advert reads as follows:

1940's original omega sea master watch

Soldiers from ww2 was given this when the war ended this omega sea master is a classic collectors item now, 1940鈥檚 still in perfect condition with original strap.

Sounds like something Arkwright might have sold in Open all hours! My apologies to non UK members who will not understand that reference.馃う

I never knew WWII soldiers got watches after the war. Almost make me want that rare bit of history LOL :whipped:馃う::stirthepot::

It was evidently only for Kuwaiti WWII soldiers....

Edit -time travelling Kuwaiti WWII soldiers - as that emblem was designed in 1962 ( had to look that bit up)

I thought it was issued to members of the Freedonian military and immediately taken back in the (very frequent) case of dishonourable discharge. Here we see brave representatives of the Marines, Army, Air Force and in full rig the Navy.
