My decisions about whether or not to be vaccinated, and if so, with which type of vaccine, would invariably derive from many sources. It is certainly conceivable that a contributor producing compelling, well-sourced information on any type of forum could become a part of that group.

Just follow the advice of the experts' consensus, as the intricacies of the topic are beyond your reach, however, is not an argument that I find to be remotely compelling.

As you have presumably noted, the situation is very fluid, so there isn't any set amount of information required. Given my unique circumstances, I face a low risk of becoming infected, or becoming seriously ill were I to be infected. Were that to change for some reason, I would be more strongly inclined to be vaccinated.

Throughout this discourse/debate, I have never attempted to discourage anyone from being vaccinated, though some have likely (mis)inferred otherwise. I have also noted that minimally, I do believe that those in the high-risk category should be vaccinated.

I was on the fence for a very, very long time. Then one day in March I got a call from my second cousin telling me my brother died..........from COVID.

The next day, I made an appointment to get vaccinated. I got the ppppppppfizer. All I got from both was a wee bit of discomfort in my arm.

I'm glad I got it, I don't want to die from this horrible disease.

There are a lot of people in hospitals throughout Florida who said exactly the same thing. That is a fact.

Interesting indeed. When you are ill, do you see a doctor, or do you seek “many sources” to diagnose and treat an illness?

The analogy is poor, but to answer your question, I have never been seriously ill. I do consult doctors on occasion, though, and would never hesitate to seek advice and treatment for acute issues.
