The Speedmaster Decades Collection (SDC) is complete, and I would like to invite all OF members to post their SDC.

It has been five+ years collecting Speedmasters. The Speedmaster was my entry into the "luxury" watch world as it was at that point one of the more affordable watches.

The watches that make up the SDC are from each decade of my life. I plan to continue to add to the collection after the year 2020 and I may also adjust the current line up, as I very much want to add a gold Speedmaster to the collection.

The collection includes the following:

SDC Piece #1 - This Ed White Speedmaster was purchased when a member here responded to my WTB add in 2015. It was delivered in 1967.

SDC Piece #2 - This Mark III was purchased on eBay from a country overseas. It is in amazing shape given the year it was made (1972) and I love the size and shape of the case.

SDC Piece #3 - This is actually a 1989 LE. I bought it from a member here that I met on the message board, and who also happened to live in my neighborhood. We have since become great friends.

SDC Piece #4 - This is my very first Omega Speedmaster. It is a 3572.50. I purchased this one 5+ years ago and it is from ~1998.

SDC Piece #5 - The best Limited Edition Speedmaster ever made. And my favorite Speedmaster. From 2005.

SDC Piece #6 - I bought this from the Omega Boutique. First ever new watch purchase.

As far as game...have you seen the uniforms the Navy will play in the game vs Army? Tribute to the Blue Angels. Should be a good game.

I know at least a few other members have SDCs. Would love to see them.

Okay, this is great to see, a total of two of us OF members with Speedmaster Decades Collection. I know there has to be a few more out there. Who else is in this "exclusive club"? Forget about being a "hoarder of speed"...heck those guys are a dime a dozen given how popular speedmasters have become . The SDC is a way more exclusive club. Who now is trying to enter this club after seeing the awesomeness of a SDC?

Yes, Steve is spot on. Several carriers, and my first duty station was the USS Midway (1985/86). I am a lifetime member of the USS Midway, so I can visit the USS Midway museum with guest free of charge.

Update to the Decades Collection.

Recently added is the Speedmaster Skeleton. And while I very much love the gold bracelet, it is on loan from @repoman for a few days (enablers helping enablers). I now think I am going to need to source a gold bracelet.

This is still a work in progress, and I am thinking that I still have an adjustment or two to make. There are certain pieces that will remain and not change, such as the Gemini4, CK2998, and Skeleton. But there may be future changes. For example, I would love to add a Mark II Racing Dial, but would want to go with a 1969 version. I could then leverage the Ed White to buy a gold bracelet.

This is a roll call thread, so would love to see others share their Decades Collection.
