How difficult is it to remove or add links? Are they screwed, pressed, or..?

Are the clasps the same width? Does the US bracelet taper as much as the Omega? In your photo it looks like the Omega clasp is much narrower which I like.
I'd need to take calipers to it, but they looked almost the same. I did hold them back to back once to check. I thought I detected a slightly wider link before the clasp on the 6:00, but again, I'd need to measure.

Hopefully only two weeks. If you really want to get it in the mail asap, send me an email. I am just trying to cut down on people complaining and filing cases against me with their cc company. [email protected]

Any word on if there will be an all brushed version of the flat link? I'm thinking about ordering a few different sent of end links and seeing if I can fiddle that onto my SMPc.
Yes I would also prefer an all brushed flat link for my SM 165.024

Received mine a couple of days ago. Looks great in my opinion. I have a ~6.5 inch wrist, so had to take out all of the removable links. Got a good fit nonetheless.

I have the Beads of Rice Bracelet and love it! I am looking forward to ordering the president as soon as it fits smaller wrists and ships to Europe. Thank you @Uncle Seiko for this great project!

My 1171 arrived today. It's exactly as described - it looks nice and feels very light on the wrist. Unfortunately I've realized that I like the heavier weight of the stock bracelet, so I'll probably be reselling this, but on the whole it's an excellent option for those who are looking.

EDIT: After a bit more time I'm less sure about selling it. I need more time to form an opinion on which I like more, but it's certainly a good bracelet.

You need a pin remover. Fairly easy to size.

Is it still possible to order a bracelet and have it shipped to the UK?

I just received mine, shipping was quick, and I was lucky to slip in before Uncle stopped shipping to Canada.

I am very impressed to say the least. Perfect fit and finish, polishing is awesome, clasp feels very secure. No regrets at all.

I'll size it this afternoon and hopefuly post some pics. Thanks Uncle for making such a great bracelet!

@Uncle Seiko , what is the weight of the bracelet compared to the original 1171 ( with hollow centre links)?
I am after a lightweight bracelet as the modern Speedy bracelet is too heavy and bulky for me.
Thanks in advance.

What do you think the weight difference is? the Uncle Seiko is 56g. What does a stock 1171 weigh? I too prefer a heavy bracelet (I'm used to my Seamaster 2531.80)

Is the "short" length version of the US1171 likely to fit a 40mm Speedmaster Racing on an ~6.3-inch wrist (160mm), while leaving at least one micro-adjust hole for further shortening? The short-length version states that it has a minimum length of 115mm, but it isn't clear what this refers to. If that's truly the *minimum* length (with the innermost micro-adjust hole) then 115mm + the ~46.3mm lug-to-lug of the watch would suggest that the answer is "no" and that I need to continue the search for an adjustable bracelet for the "less-than-average" wristed folk. :-(

Off the top of my head I think the size is with all the links removed. I don’t think I included micro adjustment , and believe me, this thing can fit a squirrel’s wrist. Give it a shot and if it doesn’t work out we can do a return/refund.
