Patiently waiting for someone with tiny wrist to try the current batch and provide feedback 😁 my wrist is 6-6.5 inch, so I'm on the fence on whether to get it right now (because I really like it) or wait for the next batch (because I also like a lighter bracelet)

Hmm most OB's have no problem ordering it, sorry you had one that had no clue.

Do you may know the retail price of that bracelet?

Aftermarket bracelets have been fitted to watches for thousands of years (well maybe a hundred!) and this is no different in that respect. These are not claiming to be something they aren’t so there shouldn’t be an issue. The only things that I see are all positive - keep up the good work @Uncle Seiko

Something about $500 I believe, and the end links are often ordered separately.

Interested in seeing some feedback from new owners. Would definitely be interested in the flatlink.

There is a part number for both together if your OB knows where to look. I had a hassle with them over the full kit. One person there could only find the bracelet.

For those questioning how (or even whether) to present these bracelets here, think about what this hobby would be without US and other small watch enthusiasts/vendors who are willing to learn, ask for input and give us options to enjoy our watches? I belong to auto forums and find chatter on OEM parts as well as aftermarket parts alike without the cynicism that I find on watch forums.

These bracelets don’t pretend to be something they are not. They are not intended to “fool” anyone. Just like the aftermarket wheels that I purchased for my S2000, it’s another option intended to allow me to enjoy my watch. Options are good. Look at the inter-connected world we live in that amplifies our enjoyment of our hobby! Really is amazing...This is something to celebrate not frown upon, IMO.

Agree. I also never ever see anyone complaining about replica Corfam bands on the Heuer forums - in fact, those are often celebrated when a new level of quality is reached. Now, they aren't still in production of course like the 1171 is so it's not a directly comparable situation, but nowhere aside from the name do I see this pretending to be the real article. And unlike a Submariner "homage", this is just a bracelet

I don’t remember what part number I was given by the OB (it ended up being the wrong bracelet anyway), but the cost was $750 for the bracelet + endlink combo. Also, I’m not sure if the retail outlet I utilized was actually an OB or not. It was a stand-alone Omega store attached to a large multi-brand AD. Both the Omega store and AD were staffed by the same sales people and they shared a service/parts counter.

Anyway to determine if a place is actually an OB? The store finder on the Omega website lists both the above referenced Omega store, and the attached AD as dealers.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I have been on this forum since 2013, but joined more to read than to comment. When I broached the idea about the bracelets and was looking for input, I was a little nervous. I wasn't sure if I was going to be pounced on or not, and I must say, I was extremely thankful to have such positive responses. I really appreciate all the input I have received through this forum, on the boards and through DMs. Very encouraging and I hope these bracelets fill a void amongst collectors.

First post 😀. I found you guys though looking for a spare speedmaster bracelet and was excited to find this and the other Uncle Seiko bracelet threads. I think I will wait for the smaller president, just to be safe, but have a feeling that I am in for a president and flat link. Thank you Larry!!!

Love the 1171. Can’t wait for the flat link bracelet. A 1450 with 808 endlinks would sell like hot cakes!

I posted a comparison to my 1171/633 that I got from the OB in January on WUS.

Short version, it is really good, but I couldn't quite get the fit right. The endlinks are superb, which makes the fact that Omega can't seem to sort these out even more baffling.

Any word on if there will be an all brushed version of the flat link? I'm thinking about ordering a few different sent of end links and seeing if I can fiddle that onto my SMPc.

Are the clasps the same width? Does the US bracelet taper as much as the Omega? In your photo it looks like the Omega clasp is much narrower which I like.

I've just watched the Uncle Seiko interview on Youtube a few years ago... I'm seriously impressed; Keep up the good work @Uncle Seiko

Although I've only been a serious collector/hoarder for the last five years or so, I must say I've come across some awesome and very talented folks in this hobby out there..

Anyway, I'm definitely planning on an order for a US1171 and Holzer bracelets, to add to my meagre collection of vintage and modern Speedmaster bracelets.
i ordered mine the day it was released and im eagerly awaiting its arrival. Thankfully before @Uncle Seiko closed international shipments!
