Hey guys, I know a lot of you have been awaiting the release of the Uncle Seiko 1171 President, so here are a few pics. It is super light and comfortable, and while I am biased, admittedly, it makes wearing the watch so much more enjoyable. My only oversight that I can see is that I didn't make enough removable links, so if you are in the 6-inch (15cm) range, you will have to tuck some bracelet under the clasp. Oh well, live and learn.

$89 according to the comments on @Uncle Seiko last instagram post. Not sure if it's final though 😀

As a prospective customer, besides price, I can see other value in this replica even thought the 1171 is still available from Omega themselves. The value is that I can go online, order one, and have it shipped to my home. In order to obtain a genuine bracelet I’d have to drive an hour to the nearest AD (once they reopen), place an order, wait a couple of weeks, and then drive back (another two hour round trip) to pick it up. Of course the forum and eBay are options too, but comparing new to new, this is just simpler and more convenient.

Thankfully I already have a few 1171 bought back when they were a reasonable price. The US1171 looks good and I'm sure will be another popular Uncle Seiko bracelet. Quite big spacing between the links compared to a new 1171 but that does give it that more vintage look 😁

I've just watched the Uncle Seiko interview on Youtube a few years ago... I'm seriously impressed; Keep up the good work @Uncle Seiko

Although I've only been a serious collector/hoarder for the last five years or so, I must say I've come across some awesome and very talented folks in this hobby out there..

Anyway, I'm definitely planning on an order for a US1171 and Holzer bracelets, to add to my meagre collection of vintage and modern Speedmaster bracelets.

Or call your nearest OB and they will ship one to you. It’s not hard.
