3 pinions are stainless and 2 appear to be brass.

Also not a lot of paint burn given all that radium...

PS there's a lot of room for many many more stars, why stop there?

To far gone for me. I don’t like those pushers. I think they are replacements. Sourcing UG hands is not a fun pastime but possible.

didn’t notice the pushers but I agree. Was wearing my 22502 whole bidding on it today, less than 1000 off on the serial number.

The cathedral hour hand is weird, don't think I've ever seen one on a Glorious before, also curious about the scratches on the back of the lugs--I see these a lot on military pieces?

Definitely a replacement hour hand. The lines in the middle of each of the lugs on the back are normal and not scratches. Part of the manufacturing process.

Just picked up this one. Might not be in perfect condition case. Seems to be a bump and a scratch at case around 8 (and ofc the crown). But apart from that I fell for it. My first PR date! https://www.ebay.com/itm/174092106153
Edit; Is the second hand tip broken/replaced?

Watch case is in rough shape. Dial might be better than pictures show. IMO, the seconds hand is correct style but too short. Could have been cut down incorrectly at one time, or a correct replacement of the wrong size.

If the crown is signed, it might be worth the effort to get it replated. If not signed, then leave it alone or try to find one that matches.

I think this will clean up nicely.

It actually seems like there is a faint U on there. How does one go about getting it replated? Does anyone have a guy?😗

The gold capping on these is even thicker than Omega, so there should be no “flaking”.

You should ask your watchmaker. Since the gold plating has been totally destroyed, the “U” will be fuzzy and may totally disappear if re-plated.

A good watchmaker has “guys”.

Redial. Was it originally black? and someone put the wrong sub hands back on? Or was it white, and they made it black, and kept the wrong sub hands?

I have to ask @Masterofkarate and @ELV web , what drew you to this watch?
Black dial which looks pretty nicely redone, silver hands matching the black dial. And the fact that I only have one black dial UG chrono (and one reverse panda but that is not black)
