You're right. I should have said - not desirable for me. There must be a person out there.

I think someone has altered the month disc and "DIC" should have been "DE"

    Stewart owns a Ferrari.
He was making a joke about having the day and month together spell "MERDE."

This, of course, doesn't mean that he knows anything about Italian... but he forfeits his peasant status.

Lou S, FYI, your Pole Sub photos are included in this EBay posting. His "actual" photos look nice too, but...

Hoo boy. Seller is using @LouS 's comments about an Australian-made Polerouter Sub to market his very similar UG from Down Under with a case back from who-knows-where as if it were the real deal. Brilliant!

Just saw the posting: tres strange. The quote appears as a non-sequitir, completely out context, and appears to imply endorsement. The quote is lifted from a post on this forum, if memory serves, from a thread discussing 1st gen subs, perhaps the same one where which identifies the space between the "gene" and "ve" as hallmark redial. This is wrong on several levels.

I'm pretty confident that Eric Wind (georgetownhoya) would not take this Polerouter Sub on consignment.

One thing that really bothers me on the dials, in addition to the notorious gap in GENÈ VE, is the pointy-topped A's. They should have flat tops in this era; this is the most common re-dial tell there is.

I don't think these are re-dials, exactly... just not authentic factory dials, in my opinion.
