@bgrisso and that’s why I made my apologies, although I don’t think that making an offer or asking if there is still a possibility to discuss sale is against any rules and per se “unethical” (a rather strong word, isn’t it?)…
Just to fully clarify - I obviously tried to contact the seller well before the end of the auction to which I got no answer and repeated my offer after auction has ended, without expecting any response… because losing at auctions (and even not being able to participate in them) is simply part of the game and I am used to it.
But one would be an idiot not to ask about a watch if he is interested.
