This is a weird one (not even talking about the hands...). Protruded pushers suggesting an early one. Caseback which seems to be correct UG but with a way too early serial and no reference. https://www.chrono24.nl/universalgenve/tricompax-cal-281--id26139077.htm

What do people make of this 22499 Compax on Chrono24?

The lettering in "Universal Geneve" doesn't convince me, especially the spacing in GENEVE, but other than that my suspicion is mostly a vague one.

Closed 6 ….redial. Not unattractive though.

Which 6 are you referring to?
Hour counter is fine.
Seconds subdial on the left? That's not uncommon.
Imho the quality of the pics is too bad to assess the dial.
Whatsoever, looking at the hands, they don't match the state of the dial.

Hour counter 6. Yes the hands and the dial have not aged together. If a factory dial, much later than the case.

The OP watch on Chrono24 has a serial 985 xxx.

But I agree that the dial seems too clean compared to hands (but otherwise they match perfectly).

Found one - IG doctorsteelitaly, it’s a ref. 22499 with a similar (but not the same) dial. I would actually say that the steel hands on the Chrono24 example match the mirror indexes/dots better.

this is another replaced dial. At least this time hands have correct length...
