The milanese bracelet on a 70s UG ... Note logo is stamped from inside to outside.

thats a cool one. is the bracelent integrated or detachable? Are there any other markings on the clasp or bracelet we can compare?

where is this above example from ? As noted, it's not exactly the same as the one I had or the one from @timesofplenty (due to the mesh stamping on the clasp). Not sure if that detail is important or not?

Maybe @Mazoue can weigh in with whatever info he might have......

Sorry for not chipping in sooner, I’ve only just caught up with this thread.

I’m afraid I don’t have much to add though as I recall the discussion but not much more. Would it have been a conversation I had via eBay or Instagram?

Since then, I’ve not given these bracelets serious consideration, so I couldn’t really comment on whether there are some that appear more kosher than others.

Can any of the UG F.A.B experts share some guidance on this watch. I have seen this on reddit for sale

Seller states its a FAB watch but I havent seen any other FAB watches in this dial configuration. Could it be a service dial of some sort? The minute hand tip is broken. Would this be a honest example of a FAB watch?

Hands are all wrong and the dial ….hmm, well its a later one. What it is exactly, I’m on the fence….Redial, Retouched. Not F.A.B. Bottom line….walk away.

Get yourself a copy of Sala’s book. Hit us up. We are happy to help. We’ve all been there. Lots to search on here on OF as well. UG is very much in the deep end of the pool. Most of the good stuff is in safes. Much of what is available involves educated compromises. All of it is expensive.
