From Mr. Sala regarding the earlier convo about 'Guillermo' dials:
All the dials are really ugly and badly reprinted.
The first one has a blurred graphics, at 6 o'clock the 30 enters the counter instead at 8-10-2-4 o'clock the minutes are not printed in full, the shield is a mix between the '50s and '60s, missing the writing Compax and swiss.
The second is better as graphics, but the shield is of the same type as the first and lacks the words Uni-compax and swiss.The third, which should be the simplest, is even "obscene", the shield is invented as a form, lacks the graphics of the hardware, the indexes excavated and gold, I’m drooling (especially the one on 6) is missing swiss.
I really don’t think UG could accept such bad reprints.

Hi guys. Any idea of which model this box belongs to? Just bought it yesterday. Very expensive by the way.

Wrong case for a PolA. Also the "A" is pointed and that example looks like its the top part of an "E".

I didn't know polarouter and polerouter bumper cases were different. I know the chapter ring is a bit different but aside from that and crown I thought they're identical.

Well I don't know about that. @CafeRacer will know more than I do on if there is a difference between 20214 PolA and PolE cases. I know there are a couple of case back designs for early "routers".

That said, the eBay one though has a flat back for a Microtor, the 138SS cased watches have more of a "bubble" back on them.

Any commentary on that Polerouter Sub? Very attractive but I defer to the experts here.
I agree, an attractive package but I am not sure it is what it purports to be i.e. a minty all original example.

The amount of wear/polishing on the case back (the numbers appear to be there but only just) does not seem consistent with the condition of the bezel (completely new?) or the case (refinished?) and I'm not sure that the seconds hand belongs on this watch.

Not an expert but that bezel does not look right to me. If you look at the sideshots it's not just the inlay that's black but the whole thing?

I don't believe that it is possible to say which model sat in that box. A good guess is that any model of that era that fits into the box could have come with that box. What are the inner dimensions?

Whatsoever, it's nice! May I ask what very expensive means?

Very expensive means to me 150usd. I can get you te measurements later but it's the size of a pencil. Thx

The width is important. Then you know of which size the watch can be.
I agree, 150USD is not cheap but in the UG world...
there are currently several for sale in ebay with a much higher asking price.

I agree with all this and the cynic in me says that the seconds hand is incorrect because that’s where the spares drawer ran out.

I was talking to the other resident forum Polerouter guru about this watch and he also raised some concerns that the movement clamps were unusual. We often see these straight flat clamps neatly slot under the movement holder. However, in this eBay example the clamps appear to either bend over the top lip of the movement holder or slot into what appear to be modified cut-out slots on the movement holder itself (not sure which). I can’t take any credit for this observation but I thought it was interesting and worth noting here. Hopefully these photographs better illustrate the point;

As compared to this example taken from Chrono24. Not my photo and not my watch but the sales listing can be found here;

This one is not for sale but having discussion with owner on FB about originality. That font just doesn't look right?
