I expect this one is on many radars. The 22277 is seldom seen and the case on this one is gorgeous. 33mm is perhaps a touch on the small side but those lugs are just sublime. I love their brilliant description in Sala too; “handle details elongated as a duck’s beak”.

Those are very interesting lugs, not sure I've seen that style before.

Sharp! Seller offered it earlier with the original dial. I was on the fence because well it did not feel right. Thought about doing the same as what seller did: finding a nice dial. There was a 287 with a similar dial - albeit in much worse condition - and a missing lug for sale on ebay https://www.ebay.nl/itm/265013529294. Anyway: water under the bridge

The classic waterproof Spillmann 38mm case....except in 18k yellow gold 😲

Not sure if I'm converting correctly, but that would be 17k USD? Is the watch legit? There is some damage to the tachy near 2 oclock but otherwise pristine dial. Out of my league, but neat 👍

Crown replaced and not sure on pusher caps. Very high price. There’s another dealer that has two of these for sale, lower pricing.

Had to work very hard not to buy that. I absolutely love these and I think they represent very good value still.

This one has sold already.

I don't know what the crown engraving was but it only added to the allure.

I agree that these watches are special. The dial design is just terrific and they seem to pop up very rarely for sale.

Concerning this example, however, I have to disagree that an asking price of £1,800 for a 32mm time only with a spotty dial represents any kind of value. One could buy one of your gorgeous Polerouters for much less than that!

To be fair to the seller, he was willing to offer a fairly significant discount.

However my comment on value was less about what these currently fetch but more about what similar watches from other brands are fetching at auction and where I think these might be heading.

As much as I adore Polerouters, we probably see 10-20 Polerouters for every one of these that crops up.
