The seller seems pretty honest in his description. Redialed (though not horribly done) and broken. Looks like it drove a watchmaker crazy and the seller decided to cut his losses and let the next owner fix it.
looks like a basket case, well done winner though. people like you make bargains possible for people like me! I think we will see it on ebay again very soon ...

Been lurking here for a little while, but have not heard about Türler before. Is it as rare as the Hermes series? or is it a fake - the color of the writing seems to be slightly different than the logo? http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNIVERSAL-G...358040341?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1c4180bd15Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's not a "series". They just added the store's name to the dial. Here is a link to the website for the store. http://www.tuerler.ch/1en.html Hope this helps, gatorcpa
The writing of 'Turler' is different because applied to the dial later than the rest of the markings. As for Turler, thing of it as the Tourneau of Switzerland. They were probably tonier in the past, but now it is a chain retailer.
Hello! this one was correct or fake? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161330475443Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Best I can tell from the out of focus pictures, it seems correct. And the seller knows it - asking price more that GBP 4000!
