My untainted eye believes it is seeing re-lume and I am unsure if it has the correct hands. Thoughts?
Do we look at the same watch?
I don't see any lume. Neither on hands, nor on the dial.

Hands are UG but hour and minute hand possibly do not belong to the watch (imho too long).

This was resold for $4400 on ebay, even lower price than last time. This sucks for sellers when this happens. Non payment on ebay, then you always take a hit on the final price realized after relisting. Non payment may have been due to global shipping program. If you use this service by Ebay they will declare item for full value and charge buyer hefty customs/duty/shipping fees. Almost always the buyers will back out of payment when they see the final bill. Then you get stuck relisting item. I will never sell using Global Shipping through ebay, learned that already the hard way.

Yea but if you ship without insuring the full value and something happens ... you loose. You pay huge money for a watch like this and you balk at duty fees?

Good point. I should clarify I meant as a seller you don’t offer intl sales or shipping, USA only...

That I agree with ... if international is offered I guess you need to sort that with the buyer.

congrats, pretty sweet deal ! Chrono sweep hand looks wrong, but otherwise everything looks great.
Watch needed a service? Or was it running, all functions correct? I can't remember....

Agreed on the chrono sweep hand, but it’s fairly close and hard to find so will just live with it. Needs a service, still hunting for a good watchmaker in MA, USA.

yep, as replacement hands go, it's pretty good 👍
when you do a service maybe consider stabilizing the lume on the hands, would be a shame to lose any more, it's a really nice color

Is this an easy task for a watchmaker? The reason I ask is that I have a similar handed watch with a small rift. Afraid it will increase.

yes, they just apply a layer of something to the underside of the hands. I'm sure there is always some risk that even that stabilizing attempt might further affect the hand, but so far, I've had good luck with it.....

Script is way too big, verticle cross hair is not centered on the raised U, dial looks like carbon fiber texture.

I never understood the term tropicalised dial when not referring to dive watches, these dials just show radium/tritium burn?

It went for 630 USD. Guess thats a price to live with! Wish I had bid.
