I agree. There’s some minor damage to lower half the dial at edges though. That’s why it’s not priced higher.

Actually, the damage is pretty bad by 8 and 2 o'clock, but I guess the overall condition still makes it very appealing.

Missed this. Haven’t been on line. Very nice. I do have a pretty good 124103 already. Rose. But this is defiantly nicer!

Greetings OF members, this is my first post. I've been lurking for a bit trying to learn from the experts here.

Can I get some feedback on this one:
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.ca/ulk/itm/283273517201

And this one:

Much appreciated, happy New Year!
No alarms going off. Dirty movement. This line is a challenge for watchmakers. Make sure you have strong talent at your back.

This really isn't the place for questions.
Welcome, hungdangnguyen23, to this forum. I'd suggest that you post your questions about this Polerouter on the vintage discussion section of this forum. You'll elicit more sympathetic comments if you show you've done some work in evaluating the watch yourself. And be sure to read the stickies about posting, fishing for vintage watches, etc. if you haven't already done so. Best of luck with your search.

The UG Watches forum is the correct place to ask questions about the Polerouter. The "UG watches on eBay" thread is generally for recommended watches, not for questions.

Thank you for your opinion, makes me feel good about my purchase (typical shoot first, ask questions later). I live in San Francisco with numerous capable watchmakers in town. My concern is finding parts like a potential axle rotor for the Cal. 68

Thank you for the warm welcome - I've been lurking but also doing my research into the proper fonts, warning signs of a radial etc.

I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section of the forum, I saw lots of discussion about authenticity here so thought I'd get some feedback.

Do you mean that this is why you've chosen a cal. 215 to purchase?

I’ve only just realised that the watch linked on eBay and the watch pictured in the post are different.

The pictured watch with the Cal 215 looks fine to me based on the two images.

I would avoid the eBay watch with the Cal 68. The listing refers to a rattling rotor, the seconds hand is a replacement, the crown is a replacement etc
