Here's one I've listed, a rather nice gold-filled three-hander from the 1940s which requires a little attention: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273505547347 I hope my posting this is OK, if not, please could you let me know and I will happily remove this post.
Where were you about 2 years ago? I had one of these (admittedley with not as good a dial as the auction) that went for just over £50. They're a nice watch but I never seemed to get on with it.

What about this Polerouter? Is this a redial? And whats going on with that bezel?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/352482793763?ul_noapp=true

We are talking about this watch right? The listing price has been changed three times. First had a starting bid of 0$, then the guy was offered a direct buy at 250$ so he changed the list to a starting bid of 250$ and a buy it now at 550$. Now he's removed the BIN.

I don't trust it and the pictures are crap.

US $2.325,00 !

My apologies to @Masterofkarate and @bimbim1207 for not responding to your queries on this one. I found myself conflicted and put my own interests first; I do hope you understand.

It is a bumper polerouter with case reference 20217-9. It's not a reference you see very often. The steel marker ring with gold hour markers is correct and is unique amongst Polerouters to this reference I think.

The serial of this watch is extremely close to that of the watch in the link above, which is the only other example I've seen of this reference.

The pictures were terrible though. Fingers crossed @Larry S was wrong about the dial.

Are you talking about this?

So did you buy it? I was thinking about the reason for the price.

That's right and yes, I did buy it.

Difficult to value. I definitely think it is one of the rarer bumper references but rarity doesn't always equate to value.

I bought it for my collection because it is unusual but also because I thought it was attractive and the case looks sharp too. My hope of getting a bargain went out of the window in the last few seconds of bidding but I'm still very pleased.

I must stop talking about watches before I receive them - I've probably completely jinxed myself now.

Congrats! And good luck with it. The case is really sharp. I was on the bid too but 2k was my stop point.

Congrats!

I was looking closely too since it would nicely added to my collection, I have a few other pieces with the same ref# 20217, too.

The case looks sharp and I'm pretty sure that the dial is original too, good luck! do post us an update with more photos! And thanks for the link above!

Anyone here get this nice Aero Compax? Listed for $3k for the bid and sellers asked for $5k BIN. I contacted him and got a reply, too bad due to different time zone someone else snagged it before I woke up 🙁

Oooh, that's nice!

Anybody have any clue what this dial would have been fitted to?

Congratulations on the watch. I mean the seller called it "as found" and if there is any truth to this, its OK and you will be getting a great looking watch from a drawer or attic somewhere. Fingers crossed! 😀 It went far over my price range, and now i know why. I was very curious to why it made such a steep price, and actually just about to post a question here😀
For humor, did my post lead you to the listing?
Please post some pictures and a update when you get it😀 Would love to see some better photos.
On a second note, as a fairly new watch enthusiast, the UG polerouters is one of the lines that attract me the most! If you ever have one to spare, feel free to send me a message😗

Really like the bezel and case even though the case it looks like it's been polished once or twice, but what is that Telesport dial? Is that something that UG made?

Also, looks like the movement is missing a couple screws and another 2 screws are loose as well? Apart from that, it's a nicely aged Universal if it's all original! Or maybe the good photos contributes heaps to it as well!

I myself have found a piece with the same but cannot find any info anywhere
