Florent replied already! Iam not an expert like you guys but redial is obvious on both... Iam just curious to see the final price of both auctions.
The second is redial for sure but the first merits further investigation as it appears to be an enamel dial.
"Enamel dial" is considered a good or bad restoration procedure for collectors in terms of value of the watch and not aeshetic? Sorry for my noob question!
Just wondering if the hands should be red for the month dial. Also should 31 on the date dial be in red as well?
On the steel one, i find the right subdial a little of center to the left, and the print on the left subdial second markers a little uneven ?
Enamel dials are very expensive to make. I don’t see this as a redial option. Therefore if this is indeed enamel it is factory. Like I said, more research needed. We know UG made watches with enamel dials.
absolutely and the watch has now been relisted with a starting bid at 2.500Eur while it was sold for 995Eur.....
Any thoughts on this piece? Thanks https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Universal-G...857220?hash=item44286ab244:g:2ZMAAOSwTitbo5R5Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
