Yes, I have, but in Martel-branded moonphase calendars, which this probably was before the unfortunate redial. And some of them have Universal struck out. I imagine this is from the period of time when Universal cast the Martel factory out and they did business under their own name for a time. They probably had 'universal' stamped plates they decided not to let go to waste. NOte that in contrast to UG-branded watches, these do not have serial numbers.

Example stolen from the web (JamesEdition to be precise https://www.jamesedition.com/watche...eve-martel-triple-calendar-moon-phase-1313920 )

It's rare to see a moon phase disc without face on the TDMP, at least on UG branded, maybe not for Martel. I am told the TDMP disc is different thickness compared to Tri Compax disc.

What do we think about this one (ending soon)? Dial is nice and I've seen others like it, but it looks lie it was fit into the wrong case (as shown by the prior case markings around the edge of the dial).

Yes I was looking at this one, curious if people feel it's an original dial
It looks right to me, except for the “Swiss made” part (the fonts are just not universal in my opinion). Would be great to have the serial number to help analyse.

I second your “Swiss made” part pushing to the redial side for me.

Not sure about the movement, but I wouldn't have the dial printer even paint my house ::facepalm1::

Looks like it's missing a tension ring, dial is right as seen below (not mine).

My knowledge of UG is very limited but the 11 and 1 markers seem to be touching the centre square but the other markers are a couple of mm away, suggesting a redial in my humble

Might be quite small around 30mm, so not wearable+collectable.
You will find better watches out there...

Psst, I have an eye on this 😉

Well it just got relisted so I bought it, albeit at a slightly higher price than the seller asked first time round. I’ll post pics when it arrives.

Nice
I made an offer slightly below the asking price... I should have hit the BIN button!

Oh sorry. I offered low and he countered with 490 which I accepted. It seems it’s in the post already and should arrive Thursday. Did you enquire why it was relisted ?
