Nice Compax...

Sure, there's a personalization that might make you wonder where it's been, but I say hats off to the late Edward Sturgis, the Swiss-born, Harvard-educated founder of the Dy-Dee diaper service of Brookline, MA. He must have been a class act, handing out a service award like this.

This exact watch was sold on ebay for $1,825.00 USD less than two months ago. Whomever got it than sure got a deal.

Is that seriously a 34mm case?!?

Yep. Gotta watch the case size on the UG chronographs in general - the same complications came in a variety of sizes from 32mm to 47mm, and sometimes it's not apparent from pics, esp. sterile ones in which there are no other objects as references. Paul Duggan is a decent outfit and they are quite clear about the size, but i have seen others be deliberately misleading.

It started out above $20k that one, its starting to get to the point of being an interesting purchase especially when you consider the price Omega Cloisonnes are going for
I'll see if I still have the results, when I get back from work, but one of these sold at the Watches of Knightsbridge saly in July. I think the hammer price was about 拢3,500.
