Unfortunately Longines is a new field for me and I've no idea what the value of this model is.

These are often overpriced, and IMO this one is set too high. Granted I may be a little behind the times by a couple years, but these used to sell for $700 - $950 depending on condition. Given their popularity and the general increase in the price of vintage watches from good name brands, I still can't see paying more than $1100 for this despite it being in really really nice condition. The only thing I question is if that crown is truly original to the watch. Maybe another opinion or two would be wise before pouncing on it.

If you buy it get that stupid NATO strap off immediately before it ruins the caseback.

I don't like the dial and hands on the second watch. It's a bad relume job and the dial might be refinished judging by the thickness and lack fo crispness of the lettering. It could be bad photos, but I still wouldn't want the watch.

Not trying to Thread hijack, but how exactly do nato's ruin casebacks? And this would apply to Perlons as well I guess? By sheer friction?

BTT: Ultra-Chrons in General (the 431's) can be bought much much cheaper then this. But given it's condition and the Vintage Diving trend nowadays i'm sure someone will pick it up. I personally wouldn't spend more than 700-850€ on this. With B&P it would be a different story.
