·Purchased by me years ago and it languished, not working, in my watch case for years. It was recently brought to life by my watchmaker who did a cleaning and overhaul.
I don't know much about these, and from what I read on the forum, there are often transitional models. Please feel free to critique or comment on this one if something seems amiss. I'm here to learn and don't want to sell an incorrect watch.
So:
Dial: The gloss is gone and the remaining "satin" patinated enamel looks pretty good. There are a bunch of scrapes, some near the hand stack, others in the lower two quadrants. These jump out in the pictures, and look a lot better in person--they detract very slightly from the overall visual presentation. Lume dots all intact and a lovely pumpkin color.
Crown: Original
Crystal: Replaced at some point as it is unsigned.
Hands: There is a tiny kink at the tip of the hour hand which I have tried to outline in one of the pictures. It looks as if someone polished the hands roughly. Under loupe you can see that they were scratched in linear fashion. Lume intact and darker than the dial lume plots.
Case: I believe it to be unpolished or perhaps lightly/sympathetically polished. But cannot say this with certainty as I've not handled or seen many of these in the flesh. Case is certainly what I would call "good" as all bevels and angles are intact and fairly sharp. Plenty of small abrasions and scrapes. 5:00 lug has a number of scratches as seen in the pictures. Case back has a few superficial scratches. The bezel is in overall good shape. There is a picture of it (near the crown) which shows it to be rather chewed up. This is not the case! Bezel looks much better in person..
Movement: Just serviced and running well. Numerous scratches as seen in pics. And one of the bumper springs was broken and replaced by my watchmaker. You can see the difference between old and new springs in my pics.
My watchmaker of 25 years does not provide service receipts. I am one of his few "private" customers as he works, these days, mostly for the trade. So sorry, no proof of service. He also did not inscribe the inner case back on this one, but if it is important to you I can give him the watch next week and he will do it.
So, a nice and (I hope and believe) honest watch that presents well despite it's flaws.
I checked this forum for sales over the last 5 years and I think I'm offering good value on this one
at $1150

Please don't hesitate to ask questions or for more pics.
Shipping to lower 48 via Fedex/Parcelpro is on me. Overseas will split with buyer. Overseas buyers: please be aware that shipping via this method is not cheap, but it is fast and safe.
As always, thanks for the space OF!
