You'll have a watch that is sitting around 3/4" off your wrist. Perfect for dinging on corners, counters, scratching car paint etc.

Yikes! It'd add another 3mm to my Planet Ocean! We're getting into hockey-puck territory 😲

if you decide a smart watch is for you, then get a real smart watch with all the functions that are available today........don't get a semi-smart, half @$$ gadget..😀

That's true. I like my mechanical watches though. A true smart watch would just sit in the box most of the time for me.

That being said, the gadget I linked to isn't something I'd get personally. It's clever, but I agree, not very baked regarding functionality. I always enjoy seeing people coming up with new ideas though.

You can always wear mechanical and put the smart watch on your ankle for fitness tracking...or just on the other wrist. 😀

I ordered one of the Chronos devices when they first opened for pre-orders. They've been delayed several times now in shipping the product and usually the delays are "stealthy"--i.e., not directly communicated with customers. For a long time the website said spring 2016," then that changed to June, and now I gather it's July. Not a big deal but the lack of communication or reasons for the delays is a bit odd. Anyway, figured they were cheap enough that it was worth giving it a shot . . . if they ever ship the finished product. Will definitely report back when I have a chance to try it out.

What's wrong with the picture? The watch is 180° turned, with the crown pointing at the wrist, with the watch on the RIGHT hand, as I see it!

my comments were not directed at you, and yes the gadget is partially baked.

These guys obviously do not know watches and why in the hell would you buy a product from a company that has no clue. If they screw up a simple picture, imagine the final product.... Which I find rediculous in the first place.
