Yes, Shant’s Clock and Watch Repair. He’s done great work on several of my watches and several of my friends’ watches over the years.

I would second the recommendation for LA WatchWorks. Excellent work, but not cheap.

I wouldn't send everything and anything to LAWW for the reason that they are expensive. But something like a 5513 is worth spending more on to have the right people work on it, for peace of mind, etc. Furthermore, I find that using entities like LAWW for service (or Simon Freese, or our very own Archer) adds provenance to the watch that is valuable if you ever decide to sell.

A little balance on LAWW: I recently sent them two Subs (5512, 1680) for installation of color-matched hands. (a) They are really slow (4 months in this case). (b) They are really expensive. (c) The 5512 came back with a couple of pieces of debris under the crystal (very obvious, didn't need a loupe). I opened the watch and cleaned it up. (d) As I was turning the hands to advance the date on the 1680, the minute hand came loose. They repaired it for no charge, but both of these incidents suggest they may not be testing/inspecting their work as carefully as they should.

You can try Jackmond in Beverly Hills. 333 N. Canon Dr. I've always had good luck there. He also has an amazing collection on display.

I've used Mike at Rolliworks and have been very happy with his work.

I would not use Shant. Over charged me and did not perform service as stated on my Omega.
