Try Jackmond on Canon Dr in Beverly Hills. Great collection of old Omegas and promotional stuff. He is a couple of blocks from my office and I find myself heading over there a couple of times a month just to drool over what he has.

He will negotiate prices. Can't hurt to give it a try.

And there are a few stores on South Beverly Drive that sell or specialize in vintage watches.

Re high prices, rents and employment costs are high, so it is logical that brick and mortar stores seem to have inflated prices in comparison to online guys.

I believe one is called Second Time Around. 2 blocks south of Wilshire. Beverly Hills Watch Company, also on Canon. Phillipe's on Dayton at Wilshire.

great fun looking - I have spent days.

Worth going Downtown too, to the jewellery district.

    But just to look.

As others said, the online selling as killed vintage shops dead.

they are all still squirming around, bit of life left, but honestly with rents and compliance expenses only favoring large businesses, they are really just pandas.

Only surviving because people desperately like the idea of them, until they get the bill.

Be careful. I asked about a Straight Writing case back Speedy with a DON bezel several months ago and no straight answer to date :(

They are a B&M shop, with watchmakers and a good turnover in Rolexes. They have had a few Omegas, and I even bought an Ed White from them many years ago. Prices are as ever, all to high in Omega.
However I see them selling Rolexes all day long, but more than half their sales are online - from what they told me.
Same goes for Second time around.
But not for Jackomond - wonderful shop, great people, but I dont think they have sold an Omega in centuries. (Well thats what it feels like).
    I love their shop though.

Pasadena watch co on Colorado blvd carries a lot of vintage omegas. Prices are high but it's a nice shop. There is also a pawn shop across the street with several vintage omegas from time to time.

I go over and hang out with Gregory with some regularity. In the last several years I've seen him sell ONE Speedy Pro. He sure has a nice collection of stuff. Worth a trip over there.
