Seamaster. It's more wearable. The Speedy looks odd to me.

firmly in the SM300 camp... in fact, one is on the FedEx truck for delivery here today! 👍

Just checked, the bracelet numbers on SM300 and Speedy are actrually different! The SM (which I fitted) number is STZ006510 with end links marked (poss for historical reasons ) '6'. The Speedmaster LE bracelet code ends 6826 with the same '6' marking on the end link so there is a chance they are different. Not what I expected to be honest.

D'Oh, just noticed the word 'SEA' on the end link opposite the '6' so clearly the bracelets are different. Even weirder then that I got it to fit and Ed White.
I have the Railmaster and Seamaster and (someone correct me if I'm wrong) except for the part # and end links, the bracelets are identical. I'm wearing the Seamaster with the RM bracelet and SM300 end links. The end links are the only differences to match the slightly different case dimensions of the 3 pieces.

Have been offered a swap of a Trilogy SM300 for my Trilogy Speedmaster plus a few quid (over double the original retail price difference). Both are full sets in good condition with virtually unworn straps and bracelets. Would you do it and if so, why?
Nope. I would not. The speedmaster is harder to find and nicer in my view...

If you already have a Speedmaster or two, I would certainly consider the trade

I found the trilogy Speedmaster considerably more desirable than the Seamaster. I think the 300mc has done a great job of refining the original design. If you really want an old school looking Seamaster I'd be just as happy with a Watchco.

I'd only sell my first moonwatch and possibly second for a trilogy Speedmaster, they sure are a great collection I haven't seen any of the trilogy in the flesh yet unfortunately. Enjoy!
