Sapphire Caseback for Trilogy Speedmaster?

I have been searching for a couple of days for a caseback option for the 2017 Speedmaster Trilogy, calibre 1861- alas with no luck.

I reached out to spiralwinder earlier in the week and they replied quickly that whilst they had nothing in the works they’d post it up quickly on instagram if that position changed.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck sourcing a caseback for this model, and if so, pictures?

Haven't heard of any replacement backs for this model and I'm not sure there would be much demand for one. This is a pretty faithful rendition of the original, people don't really want to fool with that.

Update: they are currently making one to be available sometime later this year! I'm sure they'll post it to their Instagram when it becomes available.

Ooh yes, very nice. The 1861 is a welcome sight over a stainless caseback. That looks great!
