·Cherry blossoms viewing on the Meguro river. Walk from Naka Meguro to Ikejiri-ohashi beside the river under the trees which line either bank.
Day trek up Takaosan and see all Tokyo from the summit incl Skyscraper District.6 different routes up some easier than others. Far fewer Round-eye than on Fuji-san. Keio Line Shinjuku westbound to Chofu and change to...I forget but one stop more and you're there. About 35 mins.
Eat in Izakaya. Also there's a nice Okinawan restaurant on the river in Ikejiri-ohashi.
Just remembered if you take a Hachioji bound train not one for Hashimoto it'll take you right to the correct station whose name still eludes me.
