To rub salt into the wound the blue one is just a little nicer than the Gemini IV. It usually goes the other way. Still, it should be hesalite for me and I can't understand why they stick with the same 1498 / 1998 bracelet style. Come on it's been 20 years already and it's never looked good with those protruding end links.
If my info is correct, they will be supplied from today onwards and every month additional supply will follow. I myself ordered this morning the Gemini "copy". Expected delivery at my place in Europe by first week of August. Chose that one because I'd like to add some color to my Speedy collection. But the Panda is super nice as well though. The red one reminds me on a Gevril watch I once had but gave away....
That means it's only a matter of time before I can get my hands on the Silver Snoopy, even if it has to be reincarnated in blasphemous form
I have ordered before watches from Japan vla Amazon. Now I have contacted directly the supplier and he accepted the order. Maybe not the official route but it worked well for me before.
Maybe or likely . However it will be even more difficult to get grip on a Pepsi now after Omega disqualified itself .
Can you imagine how big wall poster will Omega have to make for 100th anniversary if there will be up to 10 or more new-old speedmaster a year?
These surely look beautiful. Problem now is that they might be taking the fun out of collecting LE speedies for me.
No more exclusivity in looks for at least three Apollo speedmasters. I do not think it is a bad move on the side of Omega to offer panda speedies, as the demand is high for these, but it most possibly will have impact on second market prices of the Apollo LE’s.
Jeez guys, collecting LE Speedmaster's sure seems like a very, very expensive hobby to me! I make that six new LE's in just three weeks the time!
Who actually buys these sets? Even with tons of money to spare it kind of looses its meaning to buy a set of watches like that, doesn't it? I only like two of them: blue dial and white and black. Wouldn't even know what to do with the rest.
...and I am sure you would be first on the list (it will be two-tone pink, matching the emoji on the left)
They will again have to eliminate those who look alike (see vintage racing there / Japan Racing not there) - so all the copy pasted reeditions are out - hence the poster shouldn’t change much Why should they care? Not a market they’re in. Adrian is entitled for the #0000 as he has made the prototype
Personally, I couldn't believe my eyes with the Gemini, A15 and Mitsu 'copy' the green one is a bit meh, but the red one i will try and get and stick a std moonwatch case back on it! yeah its an Olympic piece but who cares!
