After almost a year on the waiting list, the Ginza Omega boutique finally came through for me. According to the staff, that boutique alone has more than fifty people on the sub-waiting list for anyone who cancels their order.

Obviously they got a batch as I received my turn as well!

Awesome! Are they making you pick it up in person or do they ship?

I'm glad to read that these are still out there. I was in Japan during October and just couldn't get my hands on one. Which boutique did you go to?

The Ginza boutique, which I think is the main Omega boutique in Japan. Had to pick it up of course, they don't deliver inside Japan let alone outside Japan, unless you have some leverage.

This is very nice looking. So close to the Mitsukoshi - is the dial the same white/silver?

I've seen them side by side and the color is almost the same. Definitely edges towards a silver in some lights. I prefer the elongated indices of the Tokyo, but I like the subdial hands of the Mitsukoshi better tbh.

Here's a comparison of the two. Lume color also seems to be different.

I would personally prefer red coloured Professional and seconds hand tip as well.

Yep, the red text and longer indices are a beauty. Wonder if this dial will be available everywhere like the Mitsukoshi.

Great to see they are filtering through. For those that picked up from the Ginza AD, did they let you have the brown outer box, the plastic travel case or the hang tag?

NO, No and no. I guess I was too busy drinking the sparkling water and distracted by flirting with the staff to bother asking about any of that. They sized the bracelet and took off all the plastic stuff without asking. I've heard before that they like to keep the price tag and coffin, but I guess if you asked nicely they might let you have it...

Not for me. I am Japanese and I asked very nicely and they said they cannot. Maybe I didn’t flirt enough?

Thanks. Hands are all the same (silver)? Can you provide a lume shot showing the difference? If not, what do you mean by "different"?
Cheers!
