That's true not only in Tokyo but also in Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Hiroshima (both at ob and dept stores).
Blue is generally a shorter wait than red interestingly.
The green and yellow versions are sometimes available depending on the location.

·My sister passed through Kansai Airport yesterday and I asked her to buy the panda or blue if she sees one. No need to check with me, just get it! She got hung up with a visa issue and was running to catch her flight. Next to her gate was an Omega Boutique and she ran in and asked if they had any and sure enough they had the blue. But they already called final boarding so she left it there. Oh well, first world problems I guess. Someone will get lucky.

That really sucks cos she would have saved 8% sales tax and got it for 630,000!

·Anyone? Do you know whether and if yes by how much prices went up in Japan? It looks like Omega without too much fuss increased prices from January 1st.

I agree, too many limited edition, moreover they are all similar and it is not giving "exclusivity" anymore..

It was just a joke about how it wasn't made more extra and outdone by adding a DON, to a piece that's already quite outdone IMO. The DON was in reference to the ultraman LE, it was a hot topic at the time of posting and some people were tired of omega LEs (still now)

·Just wondering out loud. What has the 50 year anniversary moon landing got to do with the Olympic games in Toyko? By all means commenorate the 50 years since the moon landing but to coincide withe Olympic games !
