Oh that's terrible news, sad to hear.

I got a reservation over a friend in Japan for the green model, and delivery was already confirmed after a week; however as I could have picked it up only 4 weeks after confirmation and they can't keep a reservation for any longer than exactly 3 weeks 🤦 I had to cancel and re-reserve a week after. Now I am waiting and hoping... But I expect the Panda's to be the most wanted ones along the red model.

Finger's crossed 😀

Yeah they did say the panda was the most popular, so no surprises there. I will be amazed if preorders are available anymore. I’m in Tokyo at the weekend so I will look and see.

I really like the red bezel one. I saw on the Ginza shop that the price for the blue one is around 8k....
Should we expect the same price for the other?

Gawd.....such a long wait! A bit ridiculous Omega launched earlier this year and deliveries will stretch soooooooo far out. Kills the excitement of the release IMHO.

Ohhhh man I want the panda!

I was considering going to the Okympics in 2020, would be cool to pick one of these up if not the whole set haha.

As of yesterday, some Omega boutiques in Tokyo are still taking reservations for ALL versions, though a waiting list of a minimum of 2-3 months is expected they say for the Blue/Black colours. Its a bit of a pain in the ass to have to wait so long, but overall I appreciate the way Omega are doing this as the trickle release approach and lack of online reservations have prevented a potentially large resale market, at least so far.

Limited edition copies of previous limited editions? Pure laziness.

ha...........sadly they will continue to make them as peeps can't get enough of LE's and will pay much more because of it.

but it's really crossing the line with the LE off of LE

Do they allow you to keep the plastic coffin and hang tags when you buy in Tokyo?

Hi all,

On another note a status update. I am currently traveling in Japan, was in Osaka, Hiroshima and now Tokyo.
All dealerships and OBs that I have visited so far have all 5 models in stock, but will not sell them - they are being kept for demonstration purpose (these are not demo-models, but regular ones).

They take reservations, however only in person, and the last dealer told me that they expect the next shipment in December only.

That is pretty strange to see all those watches lying around. If you count dealerships I would estimate roughly 10% of the limited edition stock being there, but not for sale... 🙁

If anybody has a cue on where to get one available for sale now (I am interested in the green model), please let me know.

Cheers,
F.

Seems to me the only way is to reserve in advance for now. But the gold pieces should be more available

There's a panda for sale in Singapore for SGD15K. At that price, i will rather buy the Apollo 35th with one of the prettiest caseback imho.

The white and blue dials look great, the others not so much.
Do we know at this stage if they will have the standard or adjustable clasp on the bracelet?

I don't know if there is confirmation on the clasp, but I'd guess it's the micro-adjustment one. The Apollo XVII 45th LE last year came with the adjustable clasp.

Anyone have a recommended AD in the Tokyo/Yokohama area? I am down in the Kanagwa area but will send the wife up on a train to pick one up if I still can. Thanks!
