Dealer asked if I wanted this, just came in today. $8100. They're saying no discounts right now due to popularity.

But would you buy it at $8100?
At 5% discount - $7700?
At 10% discount - $7300?
Ask for the bracelet?

It is a hot watch and I don't doubt that discounts are going to be hard to come by any time in the near future. In my opinion it looks better on the Milanese bracelet which retails for 9,100.00. You can always ask, the worst thing that can happen is they say...NO.
To answer your questions....
But would you buy it at $8100?..... NO
At 5% discount - $7700?................NO
At 10% discount - $7300?..............NO
Ask for the bracelet?......................NO
Although I find the watch attractive, I have never liked faux patina

In all honesty if I had the funds, I probably would - but this has been my number 1 "if-I-see-it-I'll-sell-a-kidney" desire for a while (despite the new Snoops) - so my opinion comes very much from a want perspective than a value perspective.

No

At 5% discount - $7700?

No.

At 10% discount - $7300?

Nope.

Ask for the bracelet?

Eh, it comes down to personal preference but I don't care for Milanese bracelets.

I wouldn't buy another one of these unless Omega started adding the second coating of anti-reflective material on the outside of the crystal, instead of just on the inside.

I can buy much larger mirrors for a lot less money, thanks.

The more I see this watch, the more I truly think it is striking, especially on the bracelet. I agree with the previous sentiments in here about price, I wouldn't want to spend over $8,000, though they may be desirable and collectable. But I am not in that ball-park, so I can't speak about what you feel comfortable paying. I suppose if it is was in my range and it was a couple hundred dollars, I would go for it.... But with the bracelet.

At 5% discount - $7700? No
At 10% discount - $7300? Yes, and then buy the bracelet with the savings.
Ask for the bracelet? With a 10% discount I'd buy the bracelet separately.

I saw it in Vegas at a boutique and thought it was the ugliest James Bond watch I've ever seen. I wouldn't do it.

The emphasis on "I", which is why these 'should I buy it' posts mean little, it's a stranger's opinion we seek as to whether we should spend our own money. If the OP likes the watch and thinks the price is fair for him he should buy it. If he likes it with the bracelet maybe he can do a deal for some price reduction on the bracelet side. But Omega's automatic discount is pretty much going away, especially on these types of releases.

I wouldn't buy it at any price. The pheon makes it look like a cheap fleabay redial designed to fool novice milwatch collectors.

I like it but IMO it looks way better on the bracelet. I may be in the minority here but personally I prefer the standard blue Seamaster and would opt for that.

I have to agree with the majority here - personally, not sure I'm a fan of the faux patina look of this model. BUT what matters is if *you* love it or not.

I wouldn't be too worried about it holding its value, at least in the short-to-middle term. I believe that the faux patina might hurt you in the longer run but who really knows.

Go with your gut.

Absolutely! I love that watch, at least in photos. I’m hoping to get one and most definitely with the bracelet.

If money was not a big part of the equation, pourquoi pas? It’s an attractive timepiece.

I like it on the bracelet, but it’s just too expensive. I bought the prior generation of the SMPc back in 2018 brand new for a little under $2,900 USD. It’s now my daily wearer and a great watch. I now see it routinely selling as a used model for more than I paid for it new. When I compare it to the new Bond, I realize what a spectacularly good deal the “old” SMPc was, even at retail, which I believe was $4,400 USD at the time.

I don't love the aged off-white look of this one. For me this is 'no time to buy' rather than 'No Time To Die'

I hate to be this person, but can’t help myself and it’s how I view these types of decisions.

For the price of this James Bond, you can get TWO modern preowned Omega watches, including the standard issue SMP. As such, in my opinion you should REALLY love this reference to justify the opportunity cost. Given your original post, I don’t think you do and I would recommend you pass on this one.

A very photogenic watch in my eyes

It's only photogenic in lightbox conditions with photo editing software used.

This is what it looks like in reality:
