"Gray & Sons"
I swear, you can't make this stuff up. This Universe is out of good ideas, this is what it's putting out on a daily basis. Unless of course writers strikes occur multi-dimensionally.

I see this action over and over and over again on the top brands. Almost like desperation purchases, ANYTHING with Rolex, Omega, JLC, on the vintage market has this type of bidding, even if it's obvious frankenwatch. Makes no sense. Unless they are somehow trading back and forth between each other for some sort of currency arb and to build account cred.

Exactly! Too perfect to be original. Vintage watches should look tired and haggard- you know, have cred. If it doesn’t have that hung up to dry look, then it won’t give you that life well lived look while you are in your cubicle looking at pictures of Land Rovers in majestic settings while you dream of taking your mall crawler Jeep to the local trail head.
whoa whoa whoa let's leave vintage jeeps out of this. What I did to that '88 wrangler is ... what happened in 1991 stays in 1991.

In all honesty, the case isn’t too bad- I’ve seen worse.
That's like the body cam footage I was watching of some drunk lady who hit another car, went through a fence, and flipped her Jeep onto the hood. The officers asked her if they thought she was ok to drive it home, "Yeah, you can help me flip it back over, I've driven worse."

At least they had the decency to state that “the dial has been refinished at some point”🤣🤣
