That's a great looking watch! I love 1960's Japanese watches - usually earlier than the G of D era, though.
Thanks. It looks like the grammar of design started to roll out around 1962 📖 and the watch above dates to 1969. I can certainly appreciate some of Seiko's earlier designs as well.

LM is great watch. That is *56 cal right? I am sure u know but I will say it any way...dont change that date when hands are showing 21-03 time.
Yes, cal 5606 and I'm aware of the date setting issue. I'm usually pretty good about ignoring the date and don't bother keeping it correct. The day is even easier, as I can't decipher kanji 😁.
