Thoughts on this Seamaster 2849?

Looks pretty good to me aside from the replacement crown, but I’d like to hear from the experts. Bidding has been robust. Opinions on a fair price for this reference? Thanks.

It's a nice black gloss and silver gilt dial. There seems to be a little dial degradation around the six o clock marker although it wouldn't be enough to put me off. The case however looks to have been heavily polished which will certainly hold the price back IMO and if I was a betting man I'd wager the hands have been relumed. As for price I think it's already approaching all its money, maybe $550 or so. If it was mint then I'd put it more around $950 or so
