Hi, I've recently purchase a vintage cosmic and love the style of the case and proportions.

Another piece has caught my eye but I've got some reservations about its authenticity. It's a reference 135.017. My limited research on google doesn't show any blue dial/gold case combinations.

Does anything else look out of place?

Look for stainless steel cases is the best advice. With Omega, over the years they made gold cap ( a thick layer of gold fused onto stainless), and then gold plated cases ( in 80, 40 and 20 microns of gold thickness), but these later gold plated cases did not hold up to regular wear, and the base metal will sometimes be seen.

these are best avoided, unless you see one in NOS or very nice condition.
