I recently picked up this 2937-5 at an auction. Everything looks correct to me, but I wanted to put it in front of the jury.

This is a first Omega for me. I didn't expect to dig a lemon-y dial with gold furniture, but this one just does it for me. The case is 36 mm. Some honest case wear, minor spotting on the dial, and it looks like the lume pip at 2 has given up. I tried to capture how the dial appearance shifts with the lighting.

If everything checks out, I'll plan to have it serviced and start hunting for a new strap. As always, thanks for your time.

Looks good to me. Try RIOS1931.com for straps. They make some nice ones at reasonable prices.

Assuming the price wasn’t crazy high, you did very well. Lovely example

Thanks 😀. After it was all said and done, it came out to about $875, which seemed to be roughly in-range.

By the way, I was bummed to miss the black-dialed 2937 that you posted recently. Folks on here are quick!

Nice watch, congrats!
Pretty sure these old Seamaster will be in high demand in the coming years : cool design, good size and still affordable.
