Hello OF

I recently acquired this 1959 Connie, cal 551 and would welcome thoughts about it. It's just back from Johannes at the Watchguy and I think it's looking great. I don't know what the test readings really mean, but I assume a straight line like that is a good thing.

Sadly a previous owner made a few gouges out of the back, but otherwise I'm happy with it.

I tend to worry about not spotting good redials. Does this one look right to you?

This is my second Connie. I guess that means I have a collections of them.

Everything looks correct to me. The straight line is good, if you look in the upper left corner of the timegrapher you'll see the rate, which is +1 second per day, it is keeping excellent time.

I just happen to be wearing my 14381 this morning.

Yes, I figured that was pretty good. I'm wearing mine today too, and really loving it. The proportions are fantastic. Such a pleasure to look at. My usual daily at the moment is a modern Railmaster, which I also love, but is very chunky. I think I'm inclined towards older, more delicate timepieces.
