I've been taking a good look at this listing for a 1967 105.012. The seller seems reputable and does state that several replacements have been made, namely replacement glass, service dial and a 145.022-69 back case. The EOA provided does state that it's a 1967 105-012 and the serial number does bear that out, according to reference sites I've looked at. Having said that, I'm a next-to-noob when it comes to the tiny variations that a more gimlet-eyed observer might pick up on.

So, here are my (maybe wrong) observations:

Movement: Looks like a very nice 321. Serial number matches the EOA.
Dial: Short markers, applied logo, but doesn't look "modern". Swiss Made T. Thought it might be a 145.022 from looking at pictures on various sites, but the font on "Omega" and "Speedmaster" seem wrong ("SP" and "r" seem too "short").
Hands: Possibly original? Chrono hand seems the right length and has the non-squared-off end.
Bezel: Other than the non-DON, which tells me it's not original, I don't know enough to spot any other clues.
Case: Obviously the case back is a replacement, but otherwise does it look right for the reference (pushers, crown etc.)?

So it's not going to be of any interest to a collector, but TBH that doesn't bother me. I'd obviously like an all-original 105.012 as it's the original Moonwatch, but I don't want one enough to spend 10K on something that looks like it's been lying on the freeway for a week. I'd be happy to spend a moderate amount on a good condition 321, even if it has a few "franken-parts", but I'd really appreciate the thoughts of those much more knowledgable than me. Many thanks!

It's all Franken. 105.012 movement in a 145.022-69 case with a non stepped dial. It's value as parts only.

How can you tell that the whole case is 145.022, rather than just the caseback?

Found this page re the dial:

http://speedmaster101.com/blog/calibre-321-service-dials/

Of the 4 dials pictured, this one seems to exactly match the one on the right. Except for the "T SWISS MADE T", where the spacing matches the one on the left. My head hurts.

"..seems exactly as..except for.."..listen to yourself 😀!

Your head hurts already? Buy it and you will know what a real headache feels like. There has been all said here (except for the pushers that match the '69 case) already, run.

What would be the parts value?

Pushers are incorrect for 105.012 I believe

The pushers and the crown are indicative of a 145.022.
What would be the parts value?

Whatever you end up buying it for

Just to reiterate what's been said already, if you want a 105.012 this isn't it. It's a complete franken. If you can't afford a proper 105.012 at the minute, you'd be much better served buying a later, possibly 70's 145.022 in good, original condition rather than examples such as this.

Bezel, movement, hands and caseback have some value, but not a lot. Everything else is not even value as parts, closer to value as scrap

Or a nice one now on OF 😀

Is this who you meant?

Indeed, as this watch (and the Senator's policies) are a comedy of errors.

Don't get a franken. Even if you don't mind, it's not an economically wise decision.

Get a proper watch and if you don't overpay for it, you can sell it at close to zero losses. Or even a profit if you're patient enough.
