Introduced in 1962 and powered by Omega calibres 670 and 671, reference 165.004 is the midsize version of the automatic no-date Seamaster de Ville, with a diameter of 31.5 mm. It is still a gents watch though, as its serial number starting with a '1' indicates.

Please mind that this midsize Seamaster de Ville takes different crystal and crown references from regular size SMDV watches. These parts references are indicated in the main post on the first page of this thread.

Here is the dial of a US market ref. KL6292 (goldfilled) SMDV with the well known linen finish but with only one "T" for tritium.

Has a cal 560 and keeps time within few seconds/24h which is amazing for a 60 years old watch...

This is an excellent thread, thanks @PlainVanilla for the diligent work.

I'll try to contibute with an example of the non-mainstream Emir-of-Bahrain watches. This is a 166.020 in pink gold with a 7077 bracelet dated 65-1 (with 5 double expandable links). Case manufacturer is, as expected, Serva S.A. I've included the EoA, which is interesting, because it mentions the bracelet and the metal designation BB which apparently stands for 18k pink gold. (So I think the metal code BG mentioned in the main post could indeed stand for 9kt yellow gold, as explained in the table from the Omegamania catalogue posted by @gatorcpa in this thread).
