Hey folks! I am looking to buy my first vintage watch and the Seamaster watches with 500 movement have really caught my eye.

I have come across this dealer who is selling an Omega Seamaster De Ville Gold with White Dial from 1967. Claims that the watch has been gone through below servicing :
Movement is cleaned and oiled
Movement has been regulated
casing has been high gloss polished
bezel is finished to a high polish
a new leather strap and polished acrylic crystal (with a minor scratch below the hands)

The watch is priced at about $1730

I'd like to hear your thoughts, whether it seems legit and if its a reasonable price.

I would not consider this at that price point. When I saw what he’s asking, I thought this may be a solid gold model.

The polishing has removed the edges of case and reduces the value. These are common and available at below 1000.
