·C'mon guys you thought I was going to let this day pass by without posting a thread.
43 years ago today Apollo 16 lands on the moon on April 21, 1972 (GMT Date) to participate in the ultimate off road race.
Photographed by Charlie Duke, here is John Young tearing up the track in the image know as "The Lunar Grand Prix"
The Speedmaster was originally produced as a racing watch....Right?
Only a bas ass like John Young could pull off a combination like this.
A single rivet leather bund style strap with a metal calendar bent around it paired with a Beta Cloth leisure suit.
Truly a man after my own heart.
Go ahead..Say something to him about it.
In honor of the day I'm going with the Speedmaster NASA Velcro combo.
