It is a nice all round aero-compax. However, that is a much later dial (early 50s) on an early case ... I would like to see it at six o' clock as I expect a "swiss" to be there ! 馃嵖

Much better pics. Ironically the oil stain on the dial between 4/5 makes me more comfortable. Relume hands at some point in its life. Nice piece.

Given that the UAE didn't exist until 1971 that sounds like a very tall story.

Nice. I have the same reference, with a different - no lume - dial.
Imho it's strange the combination between alpha hands and no lume dial, for this specific example.
EDIT: from these pics, gold indexes seem glued above the original dial...
