Hi OF, For sale is my Universal Geneve Dato-Compax circa 1945. One of the rarest models compare to the other Compax models. They don't come up often, and when they do, most of them has repainted dial or have been worn heavily. This is one of the good one. Dial: 100% original dial with some wear, date register at 12 o'clock. Case: 18k solid gold case, hallmarks, serial, and case ref engraving are still clearly visible. Movement: Cal 285 that has been recently serviced. The watch measures 35mm excluding crown, great wrist presence with 20mm lugs width. Triple signed Universal Geneve on the dial, inside caseback and movement. It is much better in real life and has character as you would expect of a 1940's watch. All functions work as it should.
