    Our old girl, Zelda, learned this the hard way in her younger days. We were in the backcountry, but fortunately I carried a multitool with pliers. It didn't happen a second time, but that was most likely just dumb luck.

    Maybe we should put up porcupine pictures instead of cat pictures when threads get out of control?
