+1 for the first gen P.O. in 42mm.
Bought mine NOS back in 2015 and wearing the heck out of it every time it comes into rotation.
Now looking for a POLMLE but good deals are a thing of yesteryear.
Also one of the greatest solid casebacks of any Diver I know, let alone from Omega.
Cheers,
Max
P pongsterNo issues with the 2500 movement?
As an owner of an Orange 3313, my heart is called to the 2500 black dial white numerals in 42mm. As I said 2 years ago it’s a future classic with great retro touches without being faux retro.
the first gens wear so much better then even the 2nd gens for me it’s a no brainer.
P pongsterSad that there’s no full orange bezel in the current line-up.
There’s a red-orange bezel one though.
Am still convincing myself on which PO to go for -
the James Bond or the orange bezel.

Depends on what you’ve got in the collection. The Orange is great. Loud but not cheap looking nor ostentatious. More casual/sporty.

They really need to bring back a proper orange ceramic bezel. The 8500 on the bright orange strap was such a good looking sports watch. And you're right, in contrast to so many other super bright/loud sports watches out there that one just seemed to look right. Not ostentatious at all.
There is an orange ceramic bezel on the platinum planet ocean. The problem is it’s supposedly very expensive to make orange ceramic at a level needed. It’s a piece that everyone forgets about... well the price might be a reason.
